Extreme excitement

Dear Diary,

I'm a geek, I know. That much has already been established. But last night, around 1am, I got two alarming - yet exciting - insights into just how much of a true geek I am. Observe:

1) I bought a "Bring on the trumpets" (see NCC advert in previous entry) t-shirt off Ebay

2) I looked Lee up on Facebook....... AND HE WAS THERE.

Now, why this surprised me so much, I have NO idea. I guess I always thought he was one of those executive, loves his job, never-truly-leaves-the-office types. But there he was, the first one in the Search results. And oh my god. I stayed looking at his page for about half an hour, and it's amazing, he's just a normal, 24 year-old lad. And it gets better - not only is he straight (yes! yes! YES!! I got it RIGHT for once!!!) but he's also single. Sound out the bells and release the flock of doves! This is literally fantastic. As was the moment when I looked through all his photos - to discover him looking not only completely normal and cute, having fun on nights out with the lads etc, but also several of him and his friends TOPLESS.


TOPLESS.


As in, without his shirt.


Do you know what this means? I have seen my boss topless. I know what Lee looks like topless - I have SEEN him topless and he has NO IDEA that I have. This is INCREDIBLE!!! Although I do feel slightly like I'm intruding on something I shouldn't be, but fuck it, he shouldn't be so damned attractive. Quite startled by own reaction - which was namely to sit on my bed, flicking through the photos and randomly squeaking. Acutally squeaking. Jesus, I've got it bad.


Bad news: Landlady rang - I've got a shift tonight.
Good news: It's gonna be a quiet one. Plus, need the money. And now have something to think about all evening.......
